Accessibility
Voting for the accessibility framework for disadvantaged persons is based on three main tasks: to ensure mobility for all by 2015, moving towards maximum autonomy and fostering a partnership approach.
Several stations in the Savoie region offer the S.N.C.F’s "Accès Plus” service. These include the Aix-les-Bains, Albertville, Bourg-St-Maurice, Chambéry-Challes les Eaux, Moutiers – Salins – Brides les Bains and St Jean de Maurienne stations.
The Accès Plus service offers, at no cost, and following a booking made at least 48h in advance, an uninterrupted service from the entrance of the departure station to the exit of the arrival station: booking of your place, a hosting service and assistance into the train, provision of a transporting chair, etc.
